New York State Fairgrounds Everyday Attractions. While the New York State Fair is a once-a-year extravaganza, the Fairgrounds are open every day. And you can attend dozens of fun, interesting and educational attractions. Below are just a handful. For the full list, visit www.nysfair.org/fair/every-day. [Top]
Agricultural Museum. Experience farm life from more than a century ago and learn about the history of agriculture. Broom-making, weaving, flax to linen, woodworking, hearthside cooking and soap-making are all on display. Located across from the Coca-Cola Coliseum and open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.Agriculture, Livestock & Animal Competitions. The barns are full with New York State’s finest livestock and animals-horses, sheep, swine, goats, beef and dairy cattle and even llamas. The Poultry Building has pigeons, poultry, rabbits and cavies. Judging occurs daily in all the livestock barns, the Coca-Cola Coliseum and the 4-H & FFA areas. [Top]
Agriculture Tractor Display. An Agricultural Heritage Exhibit a collection of antique farm tractors together with a selection of certain other historic and unique farm implements. These tractors are generally retired farm tractors produced before 1960. Most have been restored, some to better than new condition. The tractors are on exhibit every day of the State Fair at two locations. The first one is next to the agriculture museum and the second one is inside Gate 10 where they will be able to “strut” their stuff for the fairgoers.Butter Sculpture. This is another one of those Fair features we like to think of as a tradition. It's in the Dairy Products Building, in its own cooler, where it has been at every New York State Fair for three decades. It's uniquely New York. For the visually impaired we also have a hands-on clay model of the butter sculpture at the Dairy Princess booth located in the Dairy Products Building. [Top]
Carriage Museum. More than 50 horse-drawn vehicles, a working blacksmith shop, a late 1800's era Old West cattle drive camp and chuck wagon exhibit are on display with the NYS maple syrup production exhibit. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
Commerford Petting Zoo. Located adjacent to the Kiddie Midway in the Price Chopper Youth Activity Center, the zoo features everyone’s favorite barnyard animals as well as the exotic zebra, giraffe and elephant. [Top]

Coronas Circus Featuring Kids Fest. Children of all ages will enjoy being entertained by clowns, animals and high-flying trapeze artists. Three shows daily at noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the Family Fun Center. A special added attraction is Kid’s Fest, an array of entertaining ideas for the young fairgoers with a petting zoo and animal rides available throughout the day.
Daily Parade. Don't miss our old-fashioned, all-American parade, complete with marching bands, children’s characters, antique tractors, the Heinz Hitch and much more. Starts every evening at 6 p.m. around Chevrolet Court. [Top]

Dairy Products Building. Sample New York State’s official drink at the Rainbow Milk Bar in the Dairy Products Building. Fairgoers can also find colorful, informative and entertaining exhibits on the dairy products industry in our state.Fair Access for the Deaf. Thirty sign language interpreters travel to Syracuse from all across the state to interpret more than 300 events during the Fair. Interpreters are easy to spot in their blue shirts with the Fair Access for the Deaf logo on the back. Fairgoers also may request interpreters to join their groups.
